Daffodils became associated with new beginnings (and the coming of spring) because it is one of the first perennials to bloom after the winter frost. its appearance also correspond with St. Davids Day on 1st March.
Elin Mair had this design featured on the Llŷn and Eifionydd’s 2023 National Eisteddfod Crown, designed and made by Elin Mair.
Materials:
925 sterling silver
Dimensions:
Daffodil is 1cm x 1cm. Chain is 17cm extendable to 18cm and 19cm.
Elin has collections of her silver jewellery at Victoria Fearn Gallery who acts as a disclosed agent for Elin. All Janglerins jewellery remains the property of Elin until sold.
*note photo of model wearing jewellery has slightly different design as the daffodil is made from gold, this is just a reference photo for the size as is exactly the same apart from the gold daffodil. However if you like the gold Elin does a variety of her jewellery in these same styles in gold so get in touch if it’s something you would like. The reason being we don’t have them in the gallery at all times is the price of gold costs more so the end price would be much more than silver and we find people don’t buy these items often enough to keep them on display.
